So I came to Japan on a scholarship leaving everything behind. Friends and family. Family I could do without, friends not so much
Mom was against it, but since she and dad divorced, she can't really say much since she didn't get custody and I'm an adult now. I've upped my tennis skills in the last 6 years, remaining a captain in some shape or form for 7 years straight. I finally quit using Ryoma's style, and while I keep it up just so I can piss him off, I've got my own way of playing now and they tend to call me the Illusionist. Aren't we such creative suckers?
Can't say I enjoy talking about my dad but I finally stopped listening to him when I hit High School, there's only so much I can take. Lately he's started doing stupider and stupider crap and is even making it into newspapers, I was sick of having a camera shoved in my face so I took the chance to get out of the country and high tailed it. Yeah, I'm a coward, shush.
To say I'm lonely is an understatement, everyone looks at me and sees "gaijin" automatically. I'm proud to be American, but it gets old when others think you're a barbarian because you don't understand their society. Maybe that's just me being an ass, I was always told I'm kind of unsociable. Having a traumatic childhood will do that to you. Oh well, I'll deal and move on. I'm a survivor above all else, nothing will get me down forever.
OOC: I am aware some of his icons don't fit. In my defense, icons of Kevin Smith are rare, doujinshis and scans to make them from even rarer. I'm working on it~
